Former Burnley and Melbourne Storm Coach Signs Four-Year Contract

Bellamy Succeeds Rob Page After Month-Long Search

Craig Bellamy has been appointed as the new manager of Wales on a four-year contract. The former Wales captain succeeds Rob Page, who was sacked last month.

Bellamy, 44, was most recently the coach of Melbourne Storm in the NRL. He has also had managerial spells at Burnley and Cardiff City.

Bellamy was born in Cardiff and played for Wales 78 times, scoring 19 goals. He was part of the Wales team that reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

Bellamy's first match in charge of Wales will be a friendly against Austria on March 24.
