Chelsea Gray Re-Signs With Las Vegas Aces
WNBA Champion Extends Stay in Sin City
Gray has signed a contract extension through 2025 to remain with the Aces after leading the team to its first WNBA title in 2023.
Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has re-signed point guard Chelsea Gray to a contract extension through 2025. Gray, who was a key part of the Aces' championship run last season, is one of the best point guards in the WNBA and is a vital part of the team's future plans.
In 2023, Gray averaged 14.2 points, 6.2 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game. She also shot 43.8% from the field and 37.3% from three-point range. In the playoffs, Gray averaged 16.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game.
Gray is a two-time Western Conference Player of the Week and a 2023 WNBA All-Star Skills Contest winner. She has also been named to the All-WNBA Second Team twice and the All-WNBA Defensive Second Team once.
"Chelsea is a special player and we are thrilled to have her back in a Aces uniform," Williams said. "She is a proven winner and a key part of our team's success. We look forward to her continued leadership and contributions in the years to come."
Gray is excited to continue her career in Las Vegas. "I love this city and this team," Gray said. "We have something special here and I am committed to helping us win more championships."
